Our Story

2022

Two strangers met through a mutual friend's recommendation and decided to change everything. Johannes had already co-founded and led multiple companies as CEO, including Pokercode. Armin had been programming since he was 14 years old. We understood each other immediately and decided to build a SaaS company together - that's how Chatarmin was born.

2023

Initially, we worked on a completely different solution. But when the WhatsApp Business API launched in early 2023, everything became clear. We knew this was where we wanted to focus all our energy. Step by step, the industry and use case crystallised for us: "WhatsApp Marketing for D2C Brands." From that moment, our growth accelerated rapidly. Within the first six months, we had won 40 customers.

2024

As we specialised deeper into WhatsApp, we built increasingly complex use cases and integrations. By the end of 2024, we reached over 250 customers and more than 10 employees. When we launched our WhatsApp chatbot, we noticed brands wanted more and more customer support capabilities. So we started working on Armin CX, our AI customer support suite.

2025

By spring 2025, we had achieved over €200.000,00 monthly recurring revenue with more than 300 paying customers and nearly 20 employees. Our focus shifted away from pure WhatsApp toward an integrated solution. S suite covering both marketing and retention, plus AI-powered customer support. Over 50 customers are already live on our complete suite.
