A third runs without your team.

32.9% of all resolved tickets are automated – by AI or a no-code workflow. AI touches 24.2% of all tickets and resolves 4.9% end-to-end. Sounds small? Whenever AI touches a ticket, it closes 1 in 5 entirely on its own.

Methodology & definitions

So you know what you are citing: how we measured.

AI-resolved

AI resolves the ticket completely – no human, no workflow.

Workflow-automated

A no-code flow leads to the resolution.

Total automation

A workflow or any form of AI involvement.

Cohort & window. We analysed 131 shops that had been live for at least 60 days and had ≥ 50 resolved tickets; test accounts were excluded. The observation window is June 2025 to June 2026. Segments are only reported from n ≥ 20 customers upwards.

Limitations

  • The sample consists of Chatarmin customers and is not representative of e-commerce as a whole.
  • Automation rates depend heavily on setup, industry and ticket mix – individual values vary widely.
  • What counts as a "ticket" can differ between helpdesk systems.

What you want to know about the numbers

No answer here? Write to us – we reply personally.

In our data 32.9% of all resolved tickets run automated – by AI or workflow. Purely AI-resolved with no human involvement at all: 4.9%. That is the realistic state of play in 2026, measured across 2.9M tickets.

The average across 131 shops is 32.9% total automation. Anything above that beats the benchmark – though the value depends heavily on industry, ticket mix and setup.

Because they usually count something else: "AI replied" instead of "AI resolved". We measure end-to-end on real production data – no demo accounts, no cherry-picking. That makes our numbers smaller, but reliable.

From the Chatarmin platform itself: 131 shops, 2.9M resolved tickets, June 2025 to June 2026. Only accounts live for at least 60 days with ≥ 50 resolved tickets, test accounts excluded. Details in the methodology.
