Why did MatchaLand's email campaigns fall short of expectations? The answers were obvious: customers were looking for a more direct, more personal approach. That's why MatchaLand decided to make a radical change - WhatsApp marketing. But how do you achieve maximum impact there? The answer was a targeted pre-order campaign.

How do you achieve faster engagement and outstanding results? With a clear, optimized approach. Matchaland launched a targeted newsletter campaign specifically targeting VIP WhatsApp subscribers. The newsletter contains a direct link to pre-order via WhatsApp.

With the help of the Klaviyo integration, existing email lists and segments were seamlessly synchronized. And thanks to our Shopify integration, customers' purchasing behavior can also be analyzed. This helped them avoid cannibalization and created a smooth flow between email and WhatsApp marketing. The result? WhatsApp not only showed significantly faster engagement, but also significantly better results than traditional emails.

How impressive can results be with the right strategy? Matchaland proved it - the WhatsApp pre-order campaign delivered an incredible ROI of 87.5x. With pre-sales revenue of €27,000 and costs of just CHF 305.73, the campaign achieved unparalleled results. But that's not all.

The most important figures speak for themselves. The open rate was 73.4% - well above average and a clear indication of the high relevance and curiosity of the customers. At the same time, the average order value reached CHF 86.7. These figures show the strength of WhatsApp as a personal and direct communication channel.

Thanks to the Shopify link, it was ensured that purchasing behavior was optimally taken into account without overlapping with other marketing measures. What happened as a result? WhatsApp and email worked hand in hand - for maximum results.

In fact, the campaign shows that WhatsApp has a clear advantage over email. The direct approach leads to faster participation and impressive results.
