☝️ The most important facts in brief

  • Userlike has been called Lime Connect since September 2025, and in the summer of 2026 the price model changed: four plans became three.
  • Three plans: Free (€0), Pro from €105 per month (€87 with annual billing, minimum 3 seats), Enterprise on request. All net.
  • The real cost drivers are add-ons from Pro onward: Connect AI Agent (from €99 for 100 conversations), Copilot (€19/user), Workflows (from €50), WhatsApp Campaigns (from €20 plus Meta fees).
  • WhatsApp replies within 24 hours are free; proactive messages cost extra.
  • Strength: GDPR-compliant multichannel support. Limit: deep shop automation and WhatsApp marketing only run via add-ons.

If you are looking for Lime Connect pricing, you will stumble over two changes at once. First, the name: Userlike has been called Lime Connect since September 10, 2025. Second, the price model: in the summer of 2026, four plans became three. The old Team and Corporate packages are gone.

What has stayed the same: the add-ons for AI, workflows, and WhatsApp decide whether you stay at the plan price or land considerably higher. This article covers all current plans (as of August 2026), the real cost drivers, and which Shopify and e-commerce setups the tool makes sense for.

What Is Lime Connect (formerly Userlike)?

Lime Connect is a software for website chat, customer messaging, and AI-supported service. The company is based in Cologne and has belonged to Lime Technologies, a CRM provider from Lund in Sweden, since 2021. In September 2025, Userlike officially became Lime Connect. Nothing changes for customers in terms of functionality; only the name and the login domain (app.lime-connect.com) are new.

The core is a live chat for your website, extended by WhatsApp, Instagram, email, and further channels in one central inbox. On top come AI agents and a copilot for support. Hosting runs on European ISO 27001 certified servers, and the provider advertises full GDPR compliance and a data processing agreement. Reference customers include Toyota and Hagebaumarkt.

One thing matters for e-commerce: at its core, Lime Connect is a support and messaging platform. WhatsApp marketing runs as an add-on module, not as the centerpiece. That shapes the pricing too.

Lime Connect Pricing 2026: The Three Plans in Detail

Lime Connect restructured its price model in the summer of 2026. The old Team (from €130) and Corporate (from €350) plans have disappeared from the pricing page. According to the German review platform trusted.de, they were merged into the new Pro plan. Flex became Enterprise. So if you still have old prices in mind: forget them. The current lineup, all prices net, plus VAT:

Plan Monthly Annual (per month) Seats WhatsApp numbers Best for
Free €0 €0 1 none testing, a single website chat
Pro from €105 from €87 min. 3 up to 10 teams with multiple channels
Enterprise on request on request min. 5 up to 20 larger organizations, SSO

A few details tend to get lost in plan comparisons. The Free plan includes one seat, one channel, and 200 conversations; WhatsApp is only available from Pro. Pro starts at a minimum of three seats, so the entry price is really the price for a small team, not for a single user. Enterprise adds SSO and an account manager. Annual billing lowers the Pro price from €105 to €87, around 17 percent.

The official plans are always up to date on the Lime Connect pricing page.

My take: The merger makes the model easier to grasp, and at €105 the entry is cheaper than the old Team plan. But: you now get three seats instead of four. Per seat, you pay slightly more. The real price hangs on the add-ons anyway.

The Add-ons: Where the Costs Really Come From

From the Pro plan onward, you can book four modules on top. They are the reason Lime Connect pricing in practice often ends up higher than the plan price suggests.

The Connect AI Agent costs from €99 per month, including 100 conversations. Billing runs per conversation, not per individual message. According to the provider, a conversation counts as one complete chatbot interaction within a session. The Connect AI Copilot sits at €19 per month per user and suggests replies. Workflows start at €50 per month for 1,000 executions. WhatsApp Campaigns cost from €20 per month for 1,000 campaign messages, plus the Meta fees per proactive message.

A sample calculation for a small support team: Pro plan (€105) plus one AI agent (€99) plus Copilot for two team members (€38) comes to around €242 per month, or €224 with annual billing. Meta's WhatsApp fees come on top.

My take: The price model is transparent, but modular. If you use AI automation and WhatsApp marketing seriously, expect double to triple the entry price. How Chatarmin and Lime Connect compare head to head is something we have broken down separately.

What Does WhatsApp Cost with Lime Connect?

WhatsApp is included with Lime Connect from the Pro plan onward. The costs depend on the type of message.

If you reply to a customer inquiry within 24 hours, the message is free. If you proactively send newsletters, offers, or status updates, two costs apply: a Meta fee per message and the WhatsApp Campaigns add-on, from €20 per month for 1,000 campaign messages. The add-on has become considerably cheaper than before (€39), but still scales with your sending volume.

What is practical: you can use the same WhatsApp number for support and campaigns.

What this means for you: WhatsApp marketing at Lime Connect is an add-on module on top of a support platform. For pure service cases, that is enough. If WhatsApp is meant to become your central revenue channel, with campaigns, flows, and deep shop integration, it is worth looking at a tool built exactly for that. Open rates above 80 percent are standard on WhatsApp, and the channel only pays off when marketing and shop data come together.

Lime Connect from an E-Commerce Perspective: Strengths and Limits for Shopify Merchants

What does a Shopify or JTL merchant get with Lime Connect, and where are the limits?

The platform is strong in classic customer dialogue. Website chat, video calls, live translation, operator routing, and one central inbox for all channels. Add European hosting and GDPR compliance, which often tips the scales in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). For teams that run many consultation conversations through their website, that is a solid package.

The limits show in the depth of e-commerce automation. Lime Connect is a messaging and support tool with an AI layer. Typical merchant needs go further: handling returns directly in the ticket, pulling shipping status automatically, canceling orders, changing addresses. Actions like these need deep integration with shop and ERP systems like JTL, Shopware, Xentral, or Billbee.

This is where a support automation like armincx comes in, executing these workflows directly from Shopify data. Our own analysis across 140 merchants shows: among the top 25%, automation contributes to 61.2% of resolved tickets, as a workflow or AI. Measured, with the denominator disclosed, no "up to" promise.

My take: Lime Connect is a good choice for multichannel support. For deep shop automation and WhatsApp-driven marketing, you should look at tools that are at home in e-commerce.

Is Lime Connect Worth It? Strengths, Limits, and Alternatives

Lime Connect earns solid reviews. On G2, it holds around 4.4 out of 5 stars from over 450 reviews (as of August 2026), most of them from smaller companies. Users mainly praise setup and usability. Criticism centers on one point: some users find the pricing high for smaller companies, especially since costs rise with every additional seat license.

For teams focused on website chat and GDPR-compliant multichannel support, Lime Connect is a good base, especially if AI automation is meant to come in step by step. If WhatsApp is your main revenue channel, or if you need deep automation with Shopify, JTL, and Xentral, it is worth comparing specialized e-commerce tools.
